Welcome to Crossroads Care
Richmond & Kingston

Most of us juggle busy lives, but if you also look after your child, another relative or a friend who is ill, frail or disabled you may be finding it extremely difficult to have a full life of your own. Richmond and Kingston Crossroads Care can help.

Our service helps family carers

We help by giving time to recharge, whether within your home or helping you to spend time away from the role of caring.

Our carer support workers are highly trained to take on all caring tasks both in the home and within the community, working flexibly, giving whatever help is needed, fitting in and around your family.

About the Charity

We are a network partner of Carers Trust and one of the providers of the Richmond Carers Hub Services.

We are inspected and monitored by the Care Quality Commission ( CQC) to ensure we meet the highest standard of service.

Some of the kind words about Crossroads Care

  • Very helpful professional support
  • It has been great. Thank you!
  • They provide a wonderful service which I often recommend to friends in similar situations
  • Crossroads are terrific – a professional and caring society
  • Very much appreciated but more people need to access such a service, carers are  really struggling

“I like it when the footballer comes because I learn new skills and I can play better. I also like it when we do art because I like making things and love drawing.”

Saturday Club

“I love the Saturday Club and look forward to doing the cooking workshops. I need to eat healthier – my doctor says pasta and veg”

Saturday Club

My daughter has been attending the Saturday Club for the past 6 months. She is overweight and does not like taking part in sport at her mainstream school. When she first started at the club she was very withdrawn and isolated with no strong friendships at school or in the community. Since joining the club she has become very open and confident. She participates in all the sporting activities especially the football and has formed friendships with all her peers at the club. I am extremely happy that my daughter loves coming to the Saturday club it gives me a break and time to spend with my younger daughter. Also, due to financial restraints I have been finding it difficult to travel to club. The club manager organised transport for my daughter to and from the club for which I am very grateful.

The Saturday Club has been a lifeline for us all as a family!

Saturday Club

“I’m so excited I can now go for my Karate red belt!”

Saturday Club

We all greatly appreciate the opportunity to get together, share experiences and support each other.

Caring Cafe

It has been tremendous help – when I flounder on how to manage and people who have been in a similar situation suggest an answer. Its great to know (through the support group) that I am not alone trying to cope

Caring Cafe

The café takes the strain away for a couple of hours so you can relax and talk to other carers

Caring Cafe

Very useful and a great support to be able to share / unburden among those who understand and know that you wont be judged

Caring Cafe

The café staff and volunteers are always smiley and cheerful, I just hope the café can can keep going!
